Starting February 1, 2025, Cloud SQL instances running unsupported versions will automatically enter extended support, receiving security fixes, bug fixes, and SLA coverage for three years. Extended support is a paid service with pricing details to be announced by August 15, 2024. Customers can opt out of extended support at any time and upgrade to a supported version.
